About Me
Hi there. I am a Registered Dietitian and Public Health Nutritionist. I specialize in plant based diets and nutrition for healthy digestion. I have particular interests in food systems and food politics, how foods affect our digestive tract, and how to maintain a healthy digestive system. I have eleven years of experience educating at schools, hospitals, community centers, and providing one-on-one and group nutrition counseling sessions.
What motivates me? Countless stories from patients and clients about food woes, weight loss struggles, digestive pains, and confusion over what to eat to stay healthy and keep their energy levels up. Keeping on top of current research findings in nutrition and looking at trends in agriculture, food production, and food cultures gives me a big picture view of how the foods we eat affect our overall health. I am thrilled to be able to positively impact the lives of my clients by providing a customized plan to meet their nutrition needs.
